- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I gave them one star because it wouldn’t let me give them any stars. I had been a customer with them for 5 years and never had any problems until I moved my account. They don’t tell you that the account takes several days to close. They also don’t tell you that you that any pending transactions will overdraft your account. All they tell you is to take care of your automatic withdraws. As far as we knew we were “Good to go” after we closed our account. I guess Fifth Third gets the last laugh when a customer closes their account. So much for “Making banking a fifth third better”.By Travis Toney, August 18, 2017
